Matthew 25

The Matthew 25 Committee receives a designated monthly budget, based on contributions from our parishioners, and distributes these funds to people who are in need of assistance in paying basic living expenses such as:

·      Housing

·      Food

·      Utilities

·      Clothing

·      Medical

·      Emergency Repairs

Each month a Matthew 25 Committee volunteer is on call to respond to urgent requests for help. Reasonable financial donations are provided to assist in meeting requests for critical needs. Calls may come directly from individuals or from a local support agency calling on behalf of an individual or family.

Other Matthew 25 activities include:

·      Coordinating Advent Giving Trees for families in need, local charities, and McConnellsburg Children’s Christmas gifts

If you would like to make a monetary donation to the Matthew 25 ministry, you can do so by placing a check or cash in an envelope marked with “Matthew 25” on the outside (envelopes are provided in the gathering space at the church).
